The Regeti's !

Srinu and Amy Regeti have four children and reside in the Town of Warrenton Virginia. Being parents they say has given them so much insight on how quickly a moment can surpass even the most vigilant person within the blink of an eye. Amy having been brought up in a family where wedding photography was a big part of their lives and Srinu having received his first camera when a he was a small boy from a trip his father had taken to Russia, he then began capturing landscape & portraits. These two styles combined turned the two of them into self-taught artists. Shortly after their youngest daughter was born they began covering small events that have lead them where they are today.

This featured Nightline ABC talented husband and wife team have become globally well known for their sense of style and imagery. Having been internationally published and recognized among the industry and their peers for trendsetting and as portrait specialists, their unique style of documentary coverage combined with contemporary portraiture is sought after by many near and far. They have a full service studio located in the quaint historic Town of Warrenton located in Virginia right along the outskirts of Washington DC.

Ever heard of it… Graeters Ice-Cream???

Oh my goodness neither had we until we received this lovely “Thank You” gift for photographing a recent event that took place. Oh one thing to be mindful of for one pint you can easily prepare to consume 1200 calories! Ouch, but oh my goodness you will never have tasted a more creamy wholesome treat in your life!

The Law of Love ~ Maryam and Perham

For us it is so difficult to place Perham in the court room as this firm tough lawyer because he is such the big teddy bear that everyone just wants to love! These two are the perfect pair in the sense that Maryam is so laid back and will just run with whatever Perham wants to do…

Maryam was probably one of our most relaxed and laid back brides ever. She was so stress free and calm. That in itself is a lot to bring to a marriage, we are certain that it will totally come in handy when they have little ones running around ;-) We hope that married life is treating you both kind!

Rabia and Haider

I do believe that this was our first Pakistani event, although no ceremony it was just their reception due to the ceremony taking place in Pakistan itself. Luckily for the two of them this allowed us to spend a little bit more time with them out on the town that otherwise on such a busy day would not be possible. And even though it was freezing cold Rabia and Haider were both champs in defeating the coldness that took over their bodies in the name of a few shots to last them a lifetime!

Shameet ~hearts~ Greta

This has to be one of the many wonderful weddings that we are so excited to have been chosen to photograph in 2009! But what makes this one stand out the most is the fact that they are aiming to be unique and different than all of the Indian weddings that we have ever photographed before. Not too mention they are a super *CUTE* couple! We could have spent hours talking about the details of their day if the guys weren’t getting board, boy they can be a joy kill sometimes, but either way we are all very excited about their upcoming wedding! All the best to you both in the New Year and finalizing the rest of your plans.

Happy Thanksgiving from our home to yours! Birthdays too!(2008)

Quick birthday wishes to Mr. Regeti himself today as we celebrate along with Thanksgiving! Here at the Regeti house we have so many things to be grateful for, but for us first and foremost is our 4 wonderful children. Everyday I have a moment that goes by where I think of where our lives would be without them. They are the reason we get up in the morning and the reason we have at least a good long laugh every single day, sometimes even a good cry now and again just thinking how fast they are growing and knowing that we can’t keep them small forever.

Another thing that Srinu and I have to be grateful for is our family and the friends that we have made personally and professionally in 2008 that have helped us maintain and continue on the path of success that God has graciously given to us. For all of this we thank the Lord above. With that said we would like to share with you our prayer on this very blessed Thanksgiving Day:

Our Father in Heaven,

We give thanks for the pleasure

Of gathering together for this occasion.

We give thanks for this food

Prepared by loving hands.

We give thanks for life,

The freedom to enjoy it all

And all other blessings.

As we partake of this food,

We pray for health and strength for this family and pets

To carry on and try to live as You would have us.

Our Heavenly Father.

This for us will be one of the most memorable Thanksgiving dinners for us as this year we had decided to begin our own family traditions. For 29 years I have spent Thanksgiving with my parents, and finally after a lot of thought and consideration we decided as a family this year to take part in starting our own tradition within our home, something our children as they grow will have to look forward to when they have children. I will admit that I missed my Mother terribly today, but seeing our family sharing in the task of preparing dinner and being able to spend more real time and less drive time was something that to us was truly priceless today.
