Christmas Eve with the Regeti’s!

Christmas Eve with the Regeti’s can be quite crazy at times, however today was the craziest ever as Bradley happen to take a pretty good hit to his left brow earlier on today almost landing us in the ER, however after pulling out some of my old nursing tricks managed to avoid the trip. It just breaks our hearts when we see how over whelmingly upset he becomes at the thought of having to hit the ER as he has seen many a road trips there! So the morning was pretty quiet here at the house as we all just kind of sat around cuddling up with Bradley trying to make him feel better and loved!

Later in the evening after we all bowled on the PS3 we did our normal traditions of opening gifts the night before with the kids which are always night clothes. My parents carried this tradition down from their parents and the kids believe it or not really look forward to it as it settles them in for the evening along with the suspense and excitement of the Christmas morning to soon come. We wrap up the evening making fresh baked sugar cookies for Santa to sit out at the fireplace with a glass of nice cold milk that the kids are all worried about getting old. Let’s just say Srinu will be drinking that one tonight ;-) A reading of “Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” along with “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and they were off to bed with sugar plums dancing in their heads!

Thanks to Ben and Jess for the head start on present wrapping and assembly the night before we very well may get a decent nights rest tonight. We wish every one out there on this joyous day a very Merry Christmas in a wonderful Regeti way!

For a grand total of 407!

Yes, we just made it out in time with our cards and wrapped them up at the official number of 407. You will have to forgive the Regeti’s for any errors in your cards as we recruited the kids help with signatures, labels, and sealing ;-) After all it is truly the thought that counts!

Here comes Santa Claus…

And the Regeti’s! As we were at the mall for we kid you not 4 hours waiting to take one single shot with the big guy we were handed beepers when we arrived as if we were eating at the “Outback” ! Jess and Ben tagged along with us like troopers as we have just been having the grandest of times hanging with one another. By the time we made it up there we felt we all deserved a shot with the man himself!

The most hilarious part of it all was the family in front of us who had to have waited just as long decided that they were just coming for a visit because they could not get a smaller package (Less than $15.00) so the elf (Santa’s helper.) offered Dad to run over to Ritz and get a disposable to take a shot of his own with. If Santa only knew his elf was short changing him, you think he would lay her off? LOL! Tis the season!
