Rachna and Nitin came into town for their e-session with us in the city. Along with us were Bill and Cara Bowen with Suburban Video who provided love story coverage for the couple while following them around the city. On average our sessions last 45-60 minutes, but as we waited the “Magic Hour” as the Bowen’s would call it, we partied into the night with the two of them!

I am not going to spend to much chatting here about our fun and fabulous couple because all throughout the month of August you will keep seeing them as we cover all the festivities leading up to their big day at the end of the month of August! We can’t wait to celebrate with the Goel/Goyal families, see everyone very soon!

And a little group shot to finish it off with Bill and Cara Bowen from Suburban Video! Cara, I think that you should loan your DAD out to those of us who may not have a Dad as cool as yours!

Okay so no this was an actual wedding and let’s just say that Donna and La Shawn (her coordinator) did not miss a beat on this event! The details were just breathtaking and even that is an understatement! Sorry for so many, but we could not narrow it down!

Donna and Eric were married at the beautiful Oxon Hill Manor at high noon! If that in itself was not crazy… those of you who know photography know that getting married in July at high noon in full sun is not the best of situations, but for this couple it could not have been more perfect in a more wonderful setting than what was presented.

Your life is an occasion…rise to it!

Wow’d everyone along with the couple in terms of the detail and care that was taken to ensure that nothing was missed! On top of that she was such a joy and pleasure to work along side. We always tell all our clients that the biggest mistake a couple can make is thinking that they do not need a wedding coordinator and that they can do it by themselves. On the biggest day of your life WE can tell you from experience that it is not possible to have a flawless event without a knowledgeable coordinator. There are so many “wanna be’s” out there, but a good coordinator will not only alleviate the stress and pressure, but save you time, effort and money worth way more then you pay for her services (or his!). Something to truly reconsider if you have not retained one for your event and besides we know a few fabulous ones!

Special thanks to Associate Ryan Harris for helping out on this wonderful wedding! Design Cuisine (Seana Hale) for the tasty eats… there are a few more that we will post as soon as we acquire the details especially the flowers!

This bride for us was/is/will always be the bride and groom we will remember. It is bride’s similar to Meg that keep our drive in shooting weddings alive. She is so real… down to earth… and nothing can take her smile away not even on a bad day I don’t think I will ever meet a bride who loves her Daddy this much… I mean yeah we all love our parents unconditionally beyond belief, but for Meg and her sister this goes deeper. You can see it in the way that she smiles whenever her dad comes into the room. It is almost as if heaven itself shines down from above and the whole room lights up through this bond that has just become stronger over the years. The post it note (ILHF – I loved her first.) shown below was just a small gesture to the amount her Dad loves her back, you know from just being with him and his girls that they have and will always be his life’s greatest work and his love for them endless for all time.

From the moment I received Meg’s phone call saying that she just had to have us to the call just hours before her consultation cause she had pink eye. Needless to say instead of canceling she turned it into a conference call with her Dad and before we reached home from the studio there was a fax and a payment in our inbox. What more can we say other than Meg is a girl who know’s what she wants and wastes no time acquiring it! How lucky is Chris for that!

You two deserve so many wonderful things in life that I am sure in time you will be blessed, it has been an honor and a pleasure getting to know you two whom we now can truly call our friends. We look forward to watching you both grow together and flourish into a wonderful family! Always stay in touch…

(Meg you can stop hitting the refresh button and give the screen time to finish loading I am surprised that you did not drag me back from India, but much to my surprise you also were very patient in awaiting your teasers! )

Congrats to the awesome newlyweds! It’s funny cause ever since we booked Kelly and Mike for their wedding coverage I have not been able to get it out of my head that he is “The Soil Guy”!

After spending one of the hottest days of what I think will be the year, it was such a pleasant evening at the Potomac Point Winery, that is truly the life! Kelly and Mike picked a beautiful place to get married as there was not one place that you could not have taken a million photos of it was just impossible not to get a great photo from the venue. The coolest part was the awesome wine cave that they have out there. It was also so nice to see Shannon and Vince, one of our former Bride and Groom’s as they clapped in celebration of the union of their friends.

Kelly and Mike have waited a long time to get just a few teasers so I will stop the lully-gagging and get onto a few of our favorites from their wedding day! Congrats again you two!

(Quick update to this post. —- SORRY… It’s already been filled!)

We are looking for one or two couples (even just the bride) who is looking to participate in a “Trash the Dress” session. Your session fee would be waived, however you would have to arrive for hair and make-up early in the morning and be with us for a better part of the afternoon. You would need to bring along with your dress, shoes and accessories! And being willing to sign a release for your images to be used for promotional purposes.

If interested we would need for you to send a photo of yourself to info@regetis.com, subject titled TTD (If it will be both husband and wife, we will need a photo of both of you.).

We are looking to fill this last slot A.S.A.P. so it will be on a first come first serve basis. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
