Shelly and Simon’s Engagement Party at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens

The Chahel Family… there are no words to describe how generous and loving this family truly is. From the moment that we met all of them at the studio we just fell in love with them all! Although the wedding won’t be taking place until next year May we were able to spend time getting to know both Shelly and SImon’s families during their intimate Engagement Party at Meadowlark Gardens.

It was truly like an evening of hanging out with good friends and dear family! The wonderful follow-ups that we receive from our clients are always one of my most favorite aspects of covering any event. Both Shelly and Mom were on top of their game as they sent us kind words of thanks the following day.

We are without words for thanks at the opportunity to be at your service over the many months yet to come!

Special shouts outs to Prabha for the awesome decor and wonderful event coordination, it’s always a pleasure to work with someone so talented! Jag Singh with eventEQ and Bill Bowen with Suburban Video as we documented and partied the night away.

Julie + Sean results in a wonderful night in DC!

Our first ever request for an evening e-session at the Lincoln Memorial. Julie and Sean are planning for an afternoon wedding, but Julie was set on some night shot photos so she opted to do her engagement session in the evening hours at the Lincoln Memorial and Sean gracefully obliged. We certainly had a blast with them both as we strolled around seeking photo opportunities on what had to have been one of the most pleasant evenings in DC this year!

Thank you both so much for giving us the honor of being chosen to photograph your wedding this upcoming October! We will be seeing you two very soon!

Lindsay and Sean… Whitehall Manor in Leesburg!

Totally excited are we that their final destination will be a beautiful reception at the lovely Whitehall Manor in Leesburg! It is just beautiful out there and god willing we are going to have some wonderful opportunity in August with these two!

Lindsay and Sean met us in Middleburg for a morning on the town, since we have never been in Old Town Middleburg before it was even a treat for us. We were able to spend time with not only Lindsay and Sean, but their pretty little pooch too and adorable is she not? Seriously!

We are extremely excited for Lindsay and Sean not just because they are our clients, but Lindsay just happens to be Associate Ben and Jess’ sister! August will be here before we know it!

Jennifer and Brent… more than 3!

It was a pleasure photographing Jennifer and Brent as Jennifer is a repeat client We are very much looking forward to watching them grow into a family Two of the most pleasant people to roam the earth for sure! In our little quaint town after what felt like endless rescheduling we finally got to spend time with these two. Sorry you fell sick afterwards Jennifer, but we had a great time with you both and hope that you have enjoyed your photos!

Engaged! at the Four Seasons with Amaryllis Flowers & DC Rentals!

We totally feel like we have been hanging at the Four Seasons in March with some fabulous events! But this takes the cake as we hung out with some of the GREATEST professionals that DC has to offer during Engaged! Magazines Bridal Event of the Year, with so much talent at the Four Seasons on Sunday it was explosive, pretty powerful dynamite came together in their ballroom with the talented team at Amaryllis Flowers combined with DC Rentals, Carl Ray on the Make-up with a little help from famous cake baker Sylvia Weinstock, Andy Kushner Entertainment’s band Sound Connection, all swiftly coordinated by Ms. Jamie Sears of A Simply Chic Event herself! What more could a bride ask for … needless to say we were not able to attend all the FABULOUS hotels that participated like The Willard Intercontinental, The RItz-Carlton in DC, The Hay-Adams and The St. Regis all of which are venues to die for!

Nisha + Mohit Engagement Celebrations in Potomac!

We could not be more thrilled for Nisha and Mohit as they completed their Engagement Celebrations over the weekend at Bretton Woods Country Club. After a small Pooja at Mohit’s parents home it was time to party on down at Bretton Woods with food, family and a lot of dancing! Coming up soon is Nisha and Mohit’s engagement session in Baltimore, it’s safe to say that we were just warming them up! We can’t wait to spend more time with them over the next couple weeks.

Big shouts to the Goyal/Goel Family for bringing us all together! It was awesome seeing everyone again this weekend.

We will be having a blast with Vidya and Rakesh over Labor Day weekend this year. As one of the “Top 25″ clients for this year we can’t express enough how excited we are that they chose us to be their photographers. We hit it off the moment they came to the studio. After their engagement session today it just confirmed even more what great clients we truly have in the 2010 year. These two are off to a great start as they tend to know exactly what they want!

Not really sure about Raruka, but thought it was hilarious to pronounce, help us out here Rakesh, we need details! One last thing, I am not sure it is legal to look this good together…

Anuja and Sanjay… 1st of 2010’s “Top 25″!

Cold, cold, cold and more cold! Poor Anuja and Sanjay fought through the chills of this cold weather in order to get some engagement photos and hang out with us today before they head to India for their destination wedding in Kerala next week. Srinu and I are soon to follow behind them on Friday! We cannot be more excited that they are sweeping us away from “Old Man Winter”. Seriously how many of us are ready for the warmness of Spring to come??? I am a little over the wonders of Winter at this time.

We cannot wait to see what their wedding week has in store once we reach Cochin, it is going to be a wedding to remember! We will be seeing the both of you next week, so jealous that you are leaving before us But we will be in transit soon enough

Thanks for handling the cold weather so well and being troopers while we have started documented the first steps in the life of “Anuja and Sanjay”. Awesome things are to come, we are sure of it!

Smitha and Nikul to be wed in Jersey!

This spring we will be honored to head up to Jersey for their wonderful wedding. This past spring we had the honor of photographing her sister and brother-in-law’s wedding as well, Anand and Santhi so it will be great to hang out with the family again as we feel already like we are such a part of it!

Off to DC we were to photograph a little bit of down time with the two of them as Nikul owes us big for getting Smitha to come out so many times Thanks guys so much for being patient and waiting for us to make our way out to the city to spend time with the two of you. Now let’s get on with some teasers!
