The Regeti Girl’s: Bhavika and Brittney’s Kuchipudi Performance

Let’s just say for Srinu this is a dream come true that his girls are learning Indian Classical dance. I personally feel that the merging of the two cultures is probably the best thing that we could gift to our children. I feel that they are only better because of it. Taking the best of both world’s and wrapping them up in it!

It was great to see them up on stage dancing together, watching them learn together is also so heartwarming as it truly has really tightened the bond that they already have with each other. They both looked stunning together on stage!

Brittney has really embraced the dance and has been a great teacher to Bhavika once they are at home and practicing. We are very proud of the girls!

What a great year for our boys!

It was awesome this year as we were able to see our boys play soccer! It is the first year for both of them and boy did they go out with a bang.

Last year Bradley our oldest son played baseball and no matter how much I love the sport there is no way I could withstand another year of watching him day dream in the field! So we opted to move for soccer this year and glad we did…

What started off with our youngest son Brijesh letting us know that he was not going to play after already being signed up, his exact words were “I am not playing, I am going to stand there and let the other team win.”, I then told him that was fine, however I don’t know that he would have too many teammates as his friends. So on the day of his first game he scored 2 goals and after I said, “Hey Brijesh, what happened I thought you were going to let the other team win?”, he followed it by saying “Man, I forgot!” He is such the joker! They both had a blast and are already signed up for the spring league to now include our youngest daughter too!

Hope your Halloween was a Happy one!

I think that Halloween may be by far the happiest of all holidays for us, because there is no religious obstacles about it in our house, just sheer and happy fun! No ghosts, ghouls or goblins as that for us is not what it is all about, but rather the mystical greatness that comes with, for one day being able to be something or someone that you truly are not. Whether that is living out a fairytale or stepping back in time. For our kids we encourage that they embrace it and remember it is all about the FUN!

P.S. The funnest part of all is that the dress our eldest daughter, Brittney is wearing was made for me by my Mother when I was 13 years old! My parents were crazy insane Civil War reenactors, if you could only see the ball gown my Mother made for herself… it was amazing!

From the Regeti home to yours, “We hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween!”

Happy Snow Day! Or Days…

It goes without saying that man we could have had at least another week in India! Oh well, it is what it is. But I must say shoveling it was back breaking. We hope that everyone is safe and sound and beginning to recover a little from the hills of white that have been blanketed over the area.

As for the Regeti Family we had an awesome time this afternoon getting in a little bit of quality family bonding through a good snow ball fight, needless to say the adults won! Came back in to some hot chocolate and watched the movie “Gahjini”, Amir Khan I don’t think will ever die, look at him I don’t think that it is normal to have such a body at his age! Let me just dream that one day soon I can begin to see the contours shine through before the old age hits ;-)

To all of you out there living in up in the Condo scene, shoveling all that snow made us a little envious of you guys and the fact that you did not have to push snow! Then after playing with the kids we realized it was half the fun as all of it is pure memories in the making!

Jillian – Life so precious and new.

Congratulations to Clark and his wife on the birth of their little blessing, Jillian. We had the pleasure of meeting with him and his family for some much needed family shots since the last time they remember having their portraits taken was when they were 13! Almost makes us want just one more…
